在美国要成功地推行《核心课程标准》需要长期的、持续的师资训练。教育工作者需要有共同的愿景来向前迈进。一个良好的开端已经有了,但仍需要多年的辛勤工作,才可以看见学生的好成绩。教师需要具有良好的专业知识才可以有效地实施《核心课程标准》。笔者参与了美国近期的《核心课程标准》的实施及培训,欲将其内容介绍给国内的同行,希望借此让中国国内从事教育的专家及教育工作者可以开放自己的视野,了解国外最新教育改革的内容,为中国教育改革提供某些有价值的参考,同时,也更深层地思考中国国内教育改革的思路。比如,如何更加注重学生个性、社会交往技能的培养;如何增加选修课的内容,丰富学校课内课外活动等;如何加强学生审辩思维、创造性及问题解决能力的培养等;如何在教学方法和教学评估/测验方面进行有效的改革。这同样是一个需要长期努力的过程。总之,只要不断地交流、讨论,一个更有效、更高标准的教育体系就会出现。

The U.S.National Governors Association and the Center for Best Practices and Council of Chief State School Officers launched the Common Core State Standards in 2010. The goal is to provide common set of standards for schools, teachers, and students to prepare the young people for college and career.In this chapter, we present and analyze 4 major shifts in CCSS that are different from previous reforms: 1.Close and critical reading, 2.Integration of language processes and disciplinary content, 3.Research evidence and technology, and 4.Text complexity.It takes a united front and persistent efforts of educators to implement the standards successfully.
